Grey Mare Waterfall is a gorgeous waterfall in Grey Mares Tail Nature Reserve, along road A708. The reserve is located between Moffat and Dryhope near Birkhill in Scotland (United Kingdom). Walk out of the car park, cross the road and past Nant cottage, fording the river. Eventually you'll hit a wooden gate on the right and you can walk down to the waterfall from the top. There are quite a few trails that start off from here at the car park near St. Pauls Knilochleven but this route is pretty and should be done by anyone in the area. It is full of pretty landscapes that show off the Scottish Highlands. You will have an incline for the first several kilometres then a flat or gentle decline along Old Military Road followed by a more sharp, although not steep.
